KUALA LUMPUR: Seven Umno leaders are being monitored by the party and its disciplinary board, said Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.
He said these leaders, including former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad are being monitored and should any of them cross the line, disciplinary action would be taken against them without hesitation.
However, Tengku Adnan, who is also Federal Territories Minister, did not elaborate on who the other leaders were or why they were being closely monitored.
He had disclosed this to reporters when asked if disciplinary action would be taken against Dr Mahathir for his vocal criticisms against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, after launching the Residensi KepongMas Federal Territory Affordable Housing (RumaWIP) project earlier this afternoon.
