KUALA LUMPUR: Following the worsening haze condition in the country, the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry has called for the third National Haze Committee meeting in efforts to seek amicable solutions to the issue.
Its minister Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said the meeting, to be held tomorrow, will include representatives from the Education and Health ministries as well as the National Security Council, among others.
"The government and the ministry understands the seriousness of the haze. And we are in fact working towards finding solutions to combat the problem.
"Among others, the committee will discuss actions that have to be taken," he said in his speech at the ministry's monthly meeting here today.
