Stars roll into town for Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The big names have already started to arrive for the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia tournament at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) later this week.

The competition, which is in its sixth edition, is scheduled to run from Thursday to Sunday with nine of the top 10 players in the world set to compete.

World No 1 Park Inbee of South Korea and New Zealand's Lydia Ko, who is the World No 2, as well as American Michelle Wie and Suzann Pettersen (Norway) are already here and were seen practicing at KLGCC today.

Defending champion Feng Shanshan of China, South Korean Ryu So Yeon as well as American Cheyenne Woods are among those also confirmed to play.
