IPOH: Heavy rains for several hours have resulted in flash floods at Jalan Kuala Kangsar here today, forcing the evacuation of 10 people in the area.
A State Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the evacuees from several houses near the main road were relocated to a community hall when the water rose up to 0.7 metres.
He said firemen helped evacuate the victims at about 7pm and they were still on standby at the affected area.
