Najib condemns 'outrageous' Paris attacks, calls for unity against terrorism

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak this morning expressed his shock over the attacks in Paris which had left more than 100 dead.

Via his Twitter account, the prime minister said Malaysia fully condemns the attacks, adding that it was crucial for everyone to stand firm against terrorism.

"Malaysia condemns the outrageous attacks in Paris today on innocent civilians.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of France," said Najib, who had also tagged French president Francois Hollande via the latter's handle @fhollande.

"I am shocked with what happened in Paris but we must remain united and undeterred in the war against terrorism," he said.
