KANGAR: The remains of popular actor and comedian Yussry Edoo, 39, or known as Yus Jambu, have safely arrived at Nurul Iman Mosque here this afternoon.
The body was received by the brother of the deceased as well as thousands of relatives, fans and friends from far and near.
His body will be laid to rest at the Nesam Muslim cemetery here after Zohor prayers.
Among those present to pay their last respects were comedians Angah Raja Lawak, Achey and actor Hairi Safwan.
Also present were state legislative assembly Speaker Hamdan Bahari and state executive councillor Rela Ahmad.
It is learnt that Yus, fondly known as Pak Yus, fell unconscious after performing at Raja Band programme with his band — Lima Bara at Dataran Merdeka last night.
He was rushed to Selayang Hospital by his colleagues and was pronounced dead at about mid night.
