KUALA LUMPUR: A minor landslip occurred on a hillslope near Taman Orkid Desa, Cheras tonight, causing alarm but no damage.
City Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Azizan Ismail said the landslip did not pose any danger to a nearby housing area.
He said the department despatched seven firemen to the scene after receiving a distress call at 8.36pm.
“Upon arriving at the scene, firemen that stones and debris from the hillside in the area. We are still waiting for City Hall personnel to clear the debris,” he said.
