DUBAI: Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) group managing director Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din was selected as Global CEO of the Year at the 6th Middle East Business Leaders Awards (MEBLA) 2015, here today.
Salim came out tops in the Global CEO of the Year award category in recognition of his more than 30 years of involvement and achievements in the Malaysian property sector especially since he took over the helm of MRCB in 2013.
Under his leadership the MRCB brand and the organisation grew to greater heights, while adding value to the company as a transport oriented developer and a major construction player in Malaysia.
His effort to secure new business has been tremendous with the three new projects secured recently in Greater Kuala Lumpur.
"Personally, my aim on assuming leadership of this premier property developer was to fast track ongoing projects before bidding for new ones, while embarking on some exciting property projects on existing land banks," he said, after winning the award.
"I will continue to build MRCB's strengths and will commit myself and the able workforce of the company to deliver various infrastructure that support the national economic development agenda."
Under Salim's helm, MRCB has been eyeing other choice lands in urban centres nationwide to replicate it's highly successful 28.8 hectare Kuala Lumpur Sentral Central Business District, which will complete in 2016 at a massive development value of RM15 billion.
