KUALA LUMPUR: Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor expressed regret over the gathering held at Sultan Sulaiman Club Kampung Baru last night.
He said the issues raised by Umno deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had been addressed many times by Prime Minister and party president Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
"Najib had settled half of the issues raised (last night), so I don't understand why they are still playing up the matter."
The gathering last night was organised for the former deputy prime minister to address his supporters.
Also present were former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal.
Tengku Adnan said he was reviewing the video clip from last night's event.
"Their act of openly critising the party is against the party constitution, "he added.
