KUALA PILAH: A 51-year-old woman pleaded guilty at the Sessions Court here today to slicing off her husband’s genitals in Batu Kikir, Jempol, near here, last Wednesday.
Fatimah Abdullah made the plea when the interpreter indicated the charge against her before Judge Sazlina Shafie.
Fatimah was charged with committing the act at a house in Batu Kikir, Jempol at 1.20am on Jan 20.
The accused was charged under section 326 of the Penal Code for intentionally causing injury by dangerous weapon to her Pakistani husband, Umar Rahman, 44, with a knife.
She is liable to a maximum 20 years’ jail, fine or whipping under the section.
Sazlina set Feb 22 for sentencing pending the victim’s medical report.
The court later set bail at RM5,000.
Deputy public prosecutor Nabilah Mohammad Zainudin prosecuted while the accused was unrepresented.
