KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic flow was reported to be slow on the major highways as at 4pm today, following many Malaysians heading back to their own destinations after the Chinese New Year break.
A PLUS Malaysia Bhd spokesman said traffic was slow from Ipoh to Gopeng, and Bidor ke Sungkai.
“Trafffic is also slow from Permatang Pauh to Perai, Bukit Gantang to Bukit Berapit, Kuala Kangsar to Sungai Perak and Menora Tunnel to Jelapang,” he said.
A spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority said traffic from the east coast heading to the federal capital was slow from Bentong to Bukit Tinggi and Genting Sempah to the Gombak toll plaza.
