KUALA NERUS: The two-headed kitten Tuah, whose photos went viral recently was found dead by its owner this morning.
Siti Ruszaihaa Mamat, 28 said that she last fed the kitten at around midnight and noticed that one of Tuah's nose was bleeding.
"I took care of him and did not sleep until 3am. However, it saddened me when Tuah failed to respond this morning," Siti said when contacted today.
Siti realised Tuah was dead when she tried to feed him with a bottle of milk after performing her Subuh prayers today.
"I will miss him forever," she said, adding that Tuah was fed with infant formula milk.
Yesterday, Kuala Terengganu Veterinary Department Medical Officer Dr Khairul Anwar Mohamad said that the two-headed kitten that was sent to him for medical inspection was not suffering from any health issues.
Dr Anwar said the examination showed that the animal was in good condition and had been recorded as the first incident in the state.
