KUALA LUMPUR : The investigation into the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 is still ongoing by the Malaysian ICAO Annex 13 Safety Investigation Team for MH370 (MH370 Safety Investigation Team), said the Transport Ministry.
Its minister, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the team had released an interim statement during the second anniversary of the missing flight on March 8 recently.
"Meanwhile, the investigation into the MH17 crash are divided into two, which are on technicals and crime.
"The Dutch Safety Board released the final report on Oct 13 last year, stating that the result from the technical investigation revealed that a 9N314M-model warhead carried on a 9M38 missile, as installed on the BUK surface-to-air missile system, had brought down the Boeing 777," said Liow in his written reply to Khalid Abdul Samad (Amanah-Shah Alam).
Khalid had asked the Transport Ministry to state the status and result of investigation of the missing flight MH370 and the ill-fated flight MH17.
