Lucero's second half brace earns Darul Ta'zim victory

Juan Martin Lucero’s brace earned Darul Ta’zim a 2-1 win over Perak to maintain their lead in the Super League while T-Team and Sarawak both notched their first wins today.

Perak took a shock lead inside one minute through Elias Fernandes following a defensive error at Larkin Stadium.

But Lucero scored a penalty in the 48th minute before Perak goalkeeper Hafizul Hakim was beaten again by the striker four minutes later.

The Johor side lead the standings with 16 points, one more than Felda United.

At the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium, T-Team defeated Kelantan 4-2 with Dishod Sharofetdinov scoring a goal in each half.

Sharofetdinov curled his free kick past Kelantan goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat in the 19th minute for the first goal.

But Kelantan were back in the game after T-Team goalkeeper Wan Azraie Wan Teh miss-kicked a back pass from Kamal Azizi Zambri and the ball rolled into his own net in the 28th minute.

Patrick Dos Santos scored his first goal for T-Team in the 38th minute but Kelantan’ Blazhe Ilijoski equalised a minute later for Kelantan.

Two minute after the breather, T-Team led again after Makan Konate headed in a cross past keeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat. Sharofetdinov added a fourth with a header in the 70th minute.

At the City Stadium, J. Partiban’s stoppage time goal handed Sarawak a 2-1 win over Penang.

Matias Cordoba netted for Penang in the 24th minute before he turned villain by missing a penalty in the 60th minute after Sarawak had equalised through Gilmar Silva Filho two minutes earlier. Partiban scored his first league goal three minutes into stoppage time for three points.

At the Selayang Stadium, Selangor and Kedah drew 2-2 in an entertaining match.
