JOHOR BARU: The Johor MCA has given its full backing to the leadership of Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin amidst claims that there is an attempt to oust him.
State deputy liaison committee chairman Datuk Tee Siew Kiong said Khaled is an honest and highly experienced leader who has a long term vision for the development of the state.
"In the three years that he has been the menteri besar, Khaled has brought positive growth to Johor. The state government under Khaled also have a clear direction of where it wants to go," said Tee.
He said Khaled's way of conducting business is also well-liked by Bangsa Johor from all walks of life.
"The 'Muafakat Bangsa Johor' concept that he introduced also contributed to strengthening the unity of the people of Johor.
For us, there is nobody that is more qualified to lead Johor Barisan Nasional," said Tee.
Tee, who is also the state Tourism, Domestic Trade and Consumerism Executive Committee chairman, was speaking to the media after launching the Johor Matta Fair 2016 at the Danga City Mall here.
