KUALA LUMPUR: Former Asian Football Confederation (AFC) general secretary Datuk Seri Paul Mony Samuel passed away today. He was 71.
Regarded as one of Malaysia's finest administrators in football, Paul also served as the general secretary of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) and the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
Paul was suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
The wake service will be held at his residence at No. 4, SS 3/94 Petaling Jaya at 8pm, on Sunday.
The funeral service is on Monday.
