DRB pumps in RM10m for new Volkswagen Semenyih 3S centre

KAJANG: Hicom Auto Sdn Bhd has pumped in RM10.7 million to open its newest Volkswagen 3S centre in Semenyih.

The Volkswagen Semenyih 3S Centre is the latest addition to Volkswagen’s still-growing dealership network in Malaysia.

DRB-HICOM chief operating officer for automotive distribution and defence Datuk Abdul Harith Abdullah said the Volkswagen Semenyih 3S centre is the company's second branch in the Klang Valley and third in the country.

"We are indeed confident the collaboration between Volkswagen and DRB-HICOM, which personified the coming together of two industry-leading brands will continue to pave the way for mutually beneficial long-term partnership.

"With the investment, we are committed to providing and enhancing the overall ownership experience of our customers," Harith said at the launch of the new centre here today.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen Group Malaysia managing director Armin Keller said as for the group, the new centre is the fourth showroom launched within the first half of the year.

"This is a testament that we are strengthening our offerings to our customers," he said.

Spanning over a total of 34,030sq ft, the Volkswagen Semenyih 3S center showroom is able to fit eight car displays and a customer lounge, while the service centre has 11 service bays manned by 12 experienced and trained after-sales staff.

In addition, customers who purchase a new Volkswagen from this outlet will also receive a DRB-HICOM Elite Card, aimed at providing assistance and exclusive benefits to members through redeemable products and services, discounts and assistance.

The 3S centre will be able to cater to the southern Klang Valley and customers from Semenyih, Kajang, Balakong, Putrajaya and Nilai.
