Get ready for another dUCk craze

The petals of the Blooming Duck scarves have not fully settled and tomorrow, fans of this local brand is up for another treat (or battle) as the brand releases its first Mother’s Day limited edition scarf and twilly set.

For the uninitiated, each online release of the scarf, especially its limited edition, sees the products, released in the thousands, snapped by its fans, called Duckies, within minutes.

It is not common to see unsuccessful fans venting their anger or frustration on the brand’s Instagram account, @duckscarves.

And if the online photo teasers are anything to go buy, loyal fans will be in front of their devices to snap this scarf, printed on silk with the doodling of a child about her mother. It’s pretty much like a child’s drawing that a mother puts on the fridge.

The Duck Group founder Vivy Yusof says she wanted to do something special for mothers “because it is so often that our fans feature themselves as mothers, or their mothers,”

“It is evident that motherhood is a huge part of their lives,” she says.

The limited edition Mother’s Day scarf is one that will tug at your heartstrings. Featuring a child's drawing, it is the imperfection of a child’s sketch that makes it so wonderful and sentimental, down to the message written on the scarf, reminiscent of a child’s words to his or her Mom.
