MUAR: Former MIC vice president and former Johor MIC chairman Tan Sri G. Pasamanickam passed away at 12.45am in Muar today.
He was 94.
Pasamanickam, who served as Muar division chief for over 30 years, was also the party's former vice president and treasurer general, Johor State Liaison Chairman and a former Dewan Negara senator.
He left behind his wife, Tarom branch chairman and former senator Puan Sri Sarasa Pasamancikam, and two children, Dr Kannan and Sunthari.
The funeral will be held tomorrow (May 3) at his house at No. 38, Jalan Ibrahim in Muar.
