Jelebu MP undergoes surgery for brain tumour

SEREMBAN: Jelebu Member of Parliament Datuk Zainudin Ismail, who was rushed to hospital today after collapsing at his home, is currently undergoing surgery after a tumour was found in his brain.

The surgery, said Pertang assemblyman Datuk Jalaluddin Alias, is expected to end at midnight.

Jalaluddin said Zainudin is now in stable condition at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL)

Zainudin, 57, was rushed to the Jelebu Hospital after falling unconscious at his home today. He was then referred to the HKL.

Zainudin is a first-term MP. The father of three is a business administration graduate from Universiti Malaya.

He was appointed chairman of LGM Properties Corporation, a body under the Malaysian Rubber Board, last December.
