MACC officers visit Guan Eng and wife's home

GEORGE TOWN: A team of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers today visited Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and his wife Betty Chew.

Two cars from MACC were spotted following Lim's official car to his bungalow No 25, Jalan Pinhorn at 3.10pm.

The automatic gate was opened for a brief moment to let the two cars in and was shut afterwards.

Several MACC officials alighted and followed Lim and Chew into the house.

It is unclear what the purpose of MACC's visit is.

Lawyers R.S.N. Rayer and Ramkarpal Singh arrived at 3.15pm. They went inside the house without speaking to the press.

The MACC officers left the residence at 4pm.
