TAIPING: The Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry is satisfied with the prices fixed by traders on essential items for the festive season.
Its minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin said checks on several places in Selangor showed that the prices were affordable, in line with the ministry's goals.
"In fact, our checks showed that the traders have set the prices below the ceiling prices," he said after visiting the Hari Raya Expo here today.
