MUADZAM SHAH: A bank in Muadzam Shah was severely damaged after an explosion took place at the outlet early this morning.
A district police spokesman said police are investigating the incident.
"We received a report on the incident at 5.50am. It could not be ascertained whether money was stolen from the bank," he said.
It is believed that the explosion occurred near the automated teller machine and cash deposit machine of the bank.
The impact of the explosion shattered the glass windows at the rear of the building.
It is understood that police have sealed the whole building block to facilitate investigation.
