Penang 'football hooligans' remanded for attack on Kedah supporters' bus [VIDEO]

GEORGE TOWN: Six people who were arrested for allegedly vandalising a coach carrying Kedah football supporters, have been remanded until Sunday.

They were brought to the magistrate's court here today to obtain their four-day remand order.

The group, including a 16-year-old, arrived at the court house in a police van about 10.45am, and were brought out of the premises about noon.

On Tuesday, a bus ferrying Kedah supporters was attacked as it was exiting the City Stadium in Penang, following a Malaysia Super League match between Penang and Kedah.

The match ended with Penang defeating Kedah 3-2.

The six were accused of riding their motorcycles alongside the moving coach, and hurling rocks at its windscreen in the 11.30pm incident.

Fans from the rival teams had earlier traded barbs before the incident.
