NSTP launches MyRumah Property Showcase in Johor Baru

JOHOR BARU: The New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd (NSTP) launched its second MyRumah Property Showcase in Komtar JBCC today in collaboration with the Andaman Group, aimed at making NSTP a leader in print media for property consultation.

The three-day showcase was launched by Johor Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Abd Latif Bandi and witnessed by NSTP group managing editor Datuk Abdul Jalil Hamid and Johor Baru Mayor A. Rahim Nin.

Also present were Johor Corporation president and chief executive Datuk Kamaruzzaman Abu Kassim.

The showcase is a continuation of the first, held in Balai Berita, Kuala Lumpur in January this year.

This time around, Komtar JBCC will host the showcase until Sunday between 10am and 10pm daily.

MyRumah will enable the public to obtain information on property matters and the latest offerings by developers in realising their dream of owning their first home, priced below RM500,000.

Renowned speakers and real estate experts will give talks throughout the event.

Latif thanked the NSTP for its initiative in organising a showcase which highlights the issue of affordable housing, which is also one of the priorities of the Johor government.

Jalil said the MyRumah showcase is the best platform for the public to know more about the future outlook of the property markets in 2016, as well as to obtain valuable tips and strategies for investment and finance.

"The MyRumah Property Showcase is organised by the New Straits Times Press Bhd in collaboration with Andaman Group, with the aim of making NSTP a leader in print media for property consultation, " said Jalil.

Also present were Andaman Group managing director, Datuk Sri Vincent Tiew as well as representatives from sponsors and exhibitors.
