Sultan Nazrin graces Media Prima Aidilfitri open house

KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah was the guest-of-honour at the Media Prima Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house today.

He arrived at the Sime Darby Convention Centre at 4.15pm, accompanied by his consort Tuanku Zara Salim Davidson.

Their arrival was welcomed by New Straits Times Press (NSTP) chairman Tan Sri Mohamed Jawhar Hassan and Media Prima chairman Datuk Seri FD Iskandar.

Sultan Nazrin and Tuanku Zara, together with more than 5,000 guest, were treated to traditional Malay delicacies such as satay, lemang, ketupat and rendang.

The open house was also attended by corporate clinets, business partners and Media Prima staff.

Others in attendance included Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak, Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan and Permodalan National Bhd chairman Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi also earlier attended the festivities.

Other Media Prima figures present included Media Prima Group Managing Director Datuk Seri Amrin Awaluddin, NSTP chief executive officer Datuk Mohammad Azlan Abdullah, NSTP Group Managing Editor Datuk Abdul Jalil Hamid, Networks News and Current Affairs deputy group managing editor Datuk Manja Ismail, Primeworks Studio chief executive officer Ahmad Izham Omar, chief executive officer for Media Prima Radio Networks Seelan Paul, Berita Harian Group Editor Datuk Mahfar Ali and Harian Metro Group Editor Datuk Mustapa Omar.
