THE Bas Drama Sangat tour visited several places in Pahang, including Raub, Temerloh, Jengka and Bera from Aug 12 to 14.
About 30,000 people came out to support the programme despite the sweltering weather to meet some of their favourite artistes.
Eight currently hot celebrities showed up at the locations: Raja Afiq, Niena Baharun and Reen Rahim (the stars of Sayangku Kapten Mukhriz); Ruhainies and Azrel Ismail (Menantu Ting Tong); Fadlan Hazim (Kahwin Muda); and Syazwan Zulkifly and Puteri Aishah (Cinta Roller Coaster).
Right after the departure of the Bas Drama Sangat entourage, which was aired live on Nasi Lemak Kopi O at Sri Pentas in Bandar Utama, Selangor, the first pit stop was at Dataran Raub.
The morning show also featured an exclusive interview with two of the artistes who took part in the tour, Azrel and Niena.
Twenty winners of the #TekaSangat contest, which was held on TV3 and TV9 Instagram accounts, were celebrated at a private dinner with the artistes at Bukit Bendera Resort in Mentakab, Pahang.
The state’s tourism and culture executive councillor Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin was also present at the dinner.
