KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak received a surprise present yesterday, in the form of a portrait by notable artist Syed Yusof Wafa Syed Nordin Wafa.
The portrait was presented by the artist himself to Najib, right after the prime minister delivered his Merdeka message at the Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Centre, last night.
The portrait was signed by numerous celebrities and artistes as a show of support for the prime minister's leadership.
Syed Yusof Wafa is known as the 'artist to the stars', having sketched and painted portraits for celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Shah Rukh Khan, James Ingram, and many others.
