EPF Simpanan Shariah hits RM41.1 billion as of Sept 13

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has announced that RM41.1 billion or 41.07 per cent of the RM100 billion allocation for its Simpanan Shariah 2017 have been taken up as at September 13, 2016.

The country's largest pension fund said in a statement today that members who are interested in switching to Simpanan Shariah 2017 could do so soon to avoid last minute crowds in December.

The closing date for the fully syariah-compliant investment scheme will be on December 23, 2016 or subject to availability of the RM100 billion allocation.

Registration for the scheme was open since August 8, 2016.
