KUALA LUMPUR: A weak earthquake measuring 2.6 on the Richter scale hit Ranau, Sabah at 7.23 pm today.
The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) in a statement said the earthquake epicentre was located 11km north of Ranau.
“Tremors were felt in Ranau, Sabah,” it said.
MetMalaysia was monitoring these developments and would update the latest information, it added. — Bernama
