Ringgit opens lower against US Dollar

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit closed lower against the US dollar today as investors remained cautious awaiting the outcome of the three-day Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) meeting in Algiers that began on Monday.

At 9.02 am, the ringgit was quoted at 4.1400/1450 against the greenback from 4.1260/1320 on Monday.
