Rehda to hold expositions in Oct, including first Bumiputera Mapex

KUALA LUMPUR: The Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association (Rehda) will be organising two property expositions (Mapex) which include Bumiputera Mapex and national Mapex this Oct to assist developers in driving sales and buyers to get their dream homes.

The inaugural Bumiputera Mapex will be held from Oct 7 to 9 at Shah Alam Convention Centre, while the national Mapex, from Oct 21 to 23, will take place at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre here.

Committee chairman Datuk Ng Seing Liong said with Mapex, developers enjoy good platforms to market their products, while buyers can look forward to purchasing quality houses with various add-ons that meet their needs.

"We are aware that the market is currently slow, and that is why we are assisting buyers as well as developers by bringing together a wide range of property selections with attractive promotions all under one roof," he said at the Mapex 2016 media briefing here today.

The Bumi Mapex will gather all available units from unsold Bumiputera quota and Malay reserves with attractive discounts.

Organisations which have confirmed their participation in the Bumi Mapex include Kota Kelang Development Sdn Bhd, Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor, IJM Land Bhd, I&P Group Sdn Bhd, Johawaki Development Sdn Bhd and Sin Hee Yang Property Management Sdn Bhd.

The Bumi Mapex will also feature property talks from Faizul Rizuan, Mohd Ali Majis, Dr Azizul Ali and Ahyat Ishak.

The national Mapex, meanwhile, will be showcasing huge property selections from more than 50 participating developers, including Mah Sing Group Bhd, Glomac Bhd, SP Setia Bhd and UEM Sunrise Bhd.
