Fuel prices go up in October

KUALA LUMPUR: Fuel prices for the month of October will see an increase of between 5 and 10 sen.

RON95 petrol will retail at RM1.80 per litre, increasing from RM1.70 in September, while RON97 will be at RM2.15 per litre, up from RM2.05, previously.

Diesel will be priced at RM1.75 per litre, up from RM1.70.

The new prices were confirmed by former Petron Petrol Dealers Association president Datuk Alang Zari Ishak.

The price of petrol and diesel were set on a managed float system from Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
