Top civil servant vows to realise govt's aspirations under 2017 Budget

PUTRAJAYA: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa has given his word that all measures planned under the 2017 Budget will be speedily executed.

He said this was to ensure that the people could continuously reap the benefits from the measures and incentives announced by the prime minister for next year.

"Malaysia's civil services will continue to move in tandem with the government to realise the aspiration of building a balanced economic growth and safeguard the people's welfare," he said in a statement posted on his Facebook account.

Ali also said the budget took into consideration matters needed to be addressed, in boosting the civil sector.

This, he said included allowing government servants to further their studies with full salary and scholarships, to equip them with the right set of skills and knowledge.

Ali in the statement reminded civil servants to boost their productivity and strengthen their level of integrity.
