Magnitude 4.1 quake hits Indonesia's Tarakan, tremors felt in Tawau

KUALA LUMPUR: A weak earthquake, measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale, occurred in Tarakan, Indonesia, at 7.51pm today.

The Meteorological Department said the epicentre of the quake was 78km south-west of Tawau, Sabah.

Tremors were felt in Tawau, it said in a statement.--BERNAMA
