JOHOR BARU: Operations at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital here have largely returned to normal, apart from the razed intensive care unit that saw six patients killed in a fire yesterday.
Passing by the hospital, one would not assume that a tragedy had struck less than 24 hour ago, with the facade of the hospital bustling with the usual activity.
With its ICU section closed, staff said patients under that category have either been transferred to the Sultan Ismail Hospital in Taman Mount Austin, 10 kilometres from here or to other hospitals.
An official statement on resumption of operations and the state of the ICU section is expected today.
