JOHOR BARU: Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah today visited the Sultan Ismail Hospital to check on patients affected by the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) fire yesterday.
The Johor Permaisuri arrived at 10.30am and proceeded to the fourth floor of the hospital.
Raja Zarith Sofiah also met HSA staff who had sustained burns while rescuing patients from the burning ICU yesterday.
Accompanying Raja Zarith Sofiah were Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin's wife, Datin Seri Rosni Omar and Johor Health Department director Dr Rooshaimi Merican.
Also present was Che' Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, consort of the Tunku Mahkota of Johor.
They visited the patients at the Ward for Burnt Patients and High Dependency Ward before proceeding to the Intensive Care Unit.
