Some parties only make promises, BN's the one that delivers, says Musa Aman

BEAUFORT: Barisan Nasional (BN) is the only party political that will look into the wellbeing of the people, said Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman today.

"Regardless of any parties registered, whether it is Harapan or Warisan (newly registered Sabah based opposition parties), BN is the one who will listen to the people and bring development in the state.

"People should not easily believe with other parties who make promises," he said during the launching of first phase of Mini Estate Sejahtera (MESEJ) at Kampung Montenior here.

Musa, who is also Sabah BN chairman said good ties between state and federal government are essential for more development to take place in Sabah.

Earlier, he said the phase one of MESEJ covering 100ha of rubber plantation, houses and facility have benefitted 33 families from the district.

The beneficiaries will be receiving dividends and monthly salary from the developed lands.

MESEJ, which is a hardcore poverty eradication programme by state government, was introduced in 2003.

To date, 52 programme had been implemented and improved lives of more than 2,500 families in the state.

Musa was accompanied by his Deputy Chief Ministers Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan and Datuk Yahya Hussin, state cabinet ministers as well as Women, Family and Community Development Deputy Minister cum Beaufort MP Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun.

Earlier during a district office briefing here, Musa had agreed to set up another factory for palm oil processing to existing two factories in the district.

His working visit also include the district sewerage plant and Cahaya Iman mosque.
