BEIJING, China: Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting, the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to China, will coordinate all the projects finalised during Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s official visit.
“In any visit like this, where key decisions are made, execution is very important. Tan Sri Ong will represent me to coordinate all projects finalised in this visit so that we can see tangible results,” Najib said.
Speaking at a press conference with Malaysian media here tonight, he said some of these projects have very specific deadlines, such as the launch of the e-Free Trade Zone which is scheduled for March next year.
“One of the qualities I admire in China is their ability to execute their decisions in a speedy manner,” Najib said.
He said the e-Free Trade Zone will enable new businesses to become a reality via e-commerce, which studies have shown can help companies achieve double digit growth consistently.
