KUALA LUMPUR: Several areas in Hulu Selangor are facing water supply disruption due to the landslide in Jalan Utama Serendah Idaman which caused a main pipe to burst.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement here today said the areas were Desa Melor, Desa Anggerik, Taman Idaman, Kampung Orang Asli Serendah and Pusat Serenti Serendah.
The company said it could not advise how long it would take to repair the main for now but had activated contingency measures like stationing static tanks and mobilising its water tanker fleet.
