KUALA LUMPUR: Umno has resolved its internal issues and is now ready to face the 14th general election, said Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
He said the party is a team which is now strong, both among its leadership - which he described as being on the "same team" - and among the party's rank and file.
"We are all ready. I see the fighting spirit. I see you delegates have the strong committent today to solve our internal problems.
"So where do we head to? To the 14th general election (GE14), and not the Umno elections.
"Dont, dont. I see there are some playing 'tali halus', but don't" said Najib in his closing speech at the Umno general assembly.
