Man missing for three days found in jungle, weak and disoriented

HULU TERENGGANU: A 45-year-old man who went missing while fishing with four others at Sungai Lut in Felda Jerangau Barat here, has been found.

State Fire and Rescue Department public relations officer Rozizah Abnihajar said the victim was found in a weak condition by a search and rescue (SAR) team in a jungle area at 11.30am today.

Three days ago, five men, including the victim, Satar Ali, went to Sungai Lut to fish at around 2pm.

Satar, from Kampung Peris, Kuala Berang, was then separated from his friends at around 5.30pm, and failed to meet up with them.

A report on his disappearance was lodged at the Kuala Berang police station the following day at 10.30am.

Following that, a SAR team was formed, comprising 53 people, including villagers, policemen and personnel from related agencies.
