ISKANDAR PUTERI: Catalytic developments like Fastrackcity unveiled today is the kind of innovative development that will help Malaysia towards becoming a high income nation.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the first of its kind motorsport hub, featuring a state-of-the-art 4.5km circuit with Grade 1 certificate under Federation Internationale Automobile and Grade A certification under Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme International circuit, will create a bigger pool of racing talent for Asia and Asean.
"Fastrackcity is one of several catalytic projects in the second phase development of Iskandar Puteri designed to drive economic growth in Iskandar Malaysia," Najib said in his speech at the project's launch at Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios.
Also present were Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
