IT’S the new year, which means it’s a time for fresh starts and new beginnings. We at BOTs spent the last few months working hard to change the tech pullout for the better.
The first thing that you may have noticed is that the pullout looks more visually attractive, eye-catching and easy to read. Kudos to our graphics and design team, who has made this possible. But the change has not been just purely cosmetic. We have enhanced some existing sections while introducing several new ones.
The main objective is to make BOTs a better read and able to attract more of the younger crowd. In the PLAY section, for example, we will be providing more coverage on video games and related topics. For example, in the first issue of every month, we will have new video game releases to help you decide which one to choose from, based on your interest and budget.
Under the PLAY section too, you will find reviews by our own pool of writers, of some of the latest gadgets like smartphones, tablets and other cool gear.
From time to time, the section will also offer articles on tech hobbies like drone flying and plenty of other fun elements.
You can also check out another new section, CLICK!, which is aimed at budding photographers and enthusiasts. We have roped in some experts in the field who will give tips on how to take better pictures. To complement the section, there will be a monthly contest where you can show your photography skills and win attractive prizes! So, watch this space!
We will also continue to offer interesting articles on innovation and creative ideas under the INNOVATION section. We talk to agencies and training houses, which provide programmes to nurture young talents in such areas as robotics and coding. You will find also inspiring articles on how people use tech to achieve success and have a better work-life balance. All these in our LIVE section.
In coming out with this revamp, we have adopted the tagline, “Humanising Tech”, which we think is appropriate. Tech has now become an integral part of our life: At home, work and play. We feel that our content should be tailored towards creating awareness that tech is not something that should be feared but embraced.
