MAYBANK recently invited clients and partners to the launch of its online crowdfunding platform called MaybankHeart. Targetting non-governmental organisations and charitable bodies, it hopes to collect RM1 million within a year, from over RM400,000 to date.
In his keynote address, Maybank chairman Tan Sri Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor said the initiative would enable the NGOs to reach out not only to the general public but also tap on the group’s 22 million customers worldwide.
The public can contribute directly through its website at www.maybankheart.com via direct debit from their Maybank account or by using credit or debit card, with a minimum donation of RM10.
