PETRA JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, have arrived at the Samariang Muslim Cemetery here.
Najib, his wife and federal cabinet ministers, several menteris besar and chief ministers arrived at 1.47pm at the cemetery where Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem will be laid to rest.
The Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud and wife Toh Puan Ragad Kurdi Taib, and state government ministers were also present.
Also in attendance to bid farewell to Adenan were opposition party leaders from across the country.
Adenan succumbed to heart complications four days after being admitted to the Sarawak General Hospital's Heart Centre in Kota Samarahan near here yesterday.
He would have turned 73 on Jan 27.
He is survived by his wife, Puan Sri Jamilah Anu, and five children, including three from a previous marriage.
