SERI MENANTI: Tuanku Jaafar Hospital Senior Medical Consultant Datuk Dr K Sree Raman leads the 831 recipients of awards from Negri Sembilan in conjunction with the 69th birthday of the Yang Dipertuan Besar Negri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir today.
K Sree Raman will be the sole recipient of the Darjah Seri Setia Tuanku Muhriz Yang Amat Terbilang (SSTM), which carries the title Datuk Seri.
Four recipients will receive the Darjah Seri Setia Negri Sembilan Yang Amat Cemerlang (SSNS), which also carries the title Datuk Seri – former Malaysia Court of Appeal judge Datuk Azhar Maah, State Secretary Datuk Mat Ali Hassan, former Court of Appeal judge Datuk Mohd Hishamudin Md Yunus and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia vice chancellor, Prof Datuk Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali.
State Police chief, Datuk Jaafar Mohd Yusof and State Judicial Commissioner Datin Siti Mariam Othman, meanwhile, are among eight recipients of the Darjah Dato’ Paduka Negri Sembilan (DPNS), which carries the title ‘Datuk’.
State Persatuan Kebajikan Isteri Wakil Rakyat and Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan Negri Sembilan (Pekerti) president Raja Datin Seri Salbiah Tengku Nujumudin and Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital anaesthesiology consultant Dr Wan Rahiza Wan Mat, meanwhile, received the Darjah Setia Tuanku Muhriz Yang Amat Gemilang (DSTM), which carries the title ‘Datuk’.
The 31 people conferred the Darjah Setia Bakti Ngeri Sembilan (DBNS) award, which also carries the title ‘Datuk’, include State Health director Dr Abdul Rahim Abdullah, MIC Rasah president G.M Kannan A/L Munusamy and Director General of the Army Reserve Force Headquarters Brigade General Mohd Radzi Ibrahim.
Forty people were awarded the Darjah Setia Negri Sembilan (DNS) and eight the Darjah Tuanku Muhriz (DTM) award.
Seventeen people received the Darjah Pekerti Terpilih (DPT) award, 98 the Pingat Ahli Setia Negri Sembilan, two the Setiawan Tuanku, 223 the Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang Masyarakat, 366 the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian, 18 the Pingat Khidmat Lama and 14 the Bentara Tuanku Muhriz awards.
