Jong-nam murder: Police shed more light on identity of female suspects [VIDEO]

KUALA LUMPUR: The two female suspects linked to the assasination of Kim Jong-nam had arrived in Malaysia early this month.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said one of the women, who holds a Vietnamese passpport under the name Doan Thi Huong, 28, had arrived in Malaysia airport on Feb 4.

The other female suspect,

Indonesian Siti Aisyah, 25, had arrived on Feb 2.

Both arrived in KL via Hanoi, Vietnam, and Batam, Indonesia, respectively.

Noor Rashid, speaking at a press conference in Bukit Aman today, said Thi Huong was slated to depart for Hanoi on Feb 23.

Noor Rashid said Thi Huong worked as an entertainment outlet employee, while Siti Aisyah was a spa masseuse.

Police did not reveal the locations of their workplace but it is believed the duo had worked in the city.

They have been remanded until Wednesday.
