Jong-nam murder: Two more N. Korean suspects sought, says IGP [VIDEO]

KUALA LUMPUR: Police today named two suspects sought to aid the probe into the assassination of Kim Jong-nam.

The duo were identified as North Korean Embassy in Malaysia second secretary, Hyon Kwang Song, 44; and Kim Uk Il, a staff with North Korean airline Air Koryo.

Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said they have strong reason to believe that the duo are still in Malaysia.

“We have requested assistance from the North Korean embassy here as we strongly believe the duo are still in the country.”

He said the North Korean embassy has yet to render any assistance to the police on the matter.

“We will not hesitate to issue arrest warrants on the duo if no cooperation is given,” he told a packed press conference at Bukit Aman here this morning.

Another North Korean man, identified as Ri Ji U, 30, also known as James, is still being sought, he said.
