One of Kim murder suspects exposed to VX nerve agent, vomiting: IGP

SEPANG: It has emerged that one of the female suspects in the assassination of Kim Jong-nam was affected by the VX nerve agent used in the murder.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the suspect was vomiting after the incident.

He did not specify which of the two female suspects was affected.

"We are arranging with the Atomic Energy Licensing Board to sweep the area (where the assassination was carried out)," he told reporters at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport today.

On Feb 13, a man believed to be the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was attacked by two women who wiped his face with toxic liquid-stained palms at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2).

He died on the way to the Putrajaya Hospital.

Jong-nam had been waiting for his flight to Macau, where he lived with his family.
